Put live crypto news on your website
Give your visitors a reason to stay. Build a news block below — choose the layout, the topic and the colours — then paste the code into your site. It keeps itself up to date from the moment it goes live.
One line of HTML
Copy, paste, done. No account, no API key, nothing to maintain.
Always current
Headlines refresh on their own as we publish. Set it once and forget it.
Matches your design
Light, dark or automatic, plus your own accent colour and layout density.
Light and private
A few KB, loaded asynchronously. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party fonts.
Build your widget
The workhorse. Drops into a sidebar or a content column and shows your readers what just happened in crypto, refreshed continuously.
Live preview
This is the real widget, rendered by the same script your visitors will load — not a mock-up.
Your embed code
<div data-ca-widget="latest" data-limit="5" data-theme="auto"></div>
<a href="https://www.coinarticle.com/news">Crypto news by CoinArticle</a>
<script async src="https://www.coinarticle.com/widget.js"></script>Paste it anywhere in your page's HTML. The widget inherits the width of whatever you drop it into, so a sidebar, a content column, and a full-width footer all work without further styling. Only one copy of the script tag is needed even if you place several widgets on the same page.
Where to put it
In a sidebar. The news list at five headlines fits the standard 300px column and gives readers somewhere to go when they finish your article.
Under your posts. A featured story block reads as a natural “elsewhere in crypto” footer without competing with your own content.
Across the top. The headline ticker needs one line of height and works in a site header, a topic page banner, or above the fold on a homepage.
On coin pages. The prices + news block pairs live quotes with the stories moving them — the strongest option if you run a trading, mining or portfolio site.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no fee, no signup, no API key and no usage cap. The only condition is that the "by CoinArticle" link stays visible — that attribution is what pays for the feed.
How often does the news update?
CoinArticle publishes throughout the day and the widget requests fresh headlines on every page load, cached for a few minutes at the edge. You never have to touch the embed code again.
Will it slow my site down?
The script is a few kilobytes, loads asynchronously, and renders after your own content. It adds no fonts, no frameworks and no tracking cookies.
Does it work on WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace or Wix?
Anywhere you can paste HTML. In WordPress use a Custom HTML block; in Webflow an Embed element; in Squarespace and Wix a Code block. Site builders that strip <script> tags are the one exception.
Can I restyle it?
The builder covers light, dark and automatic themes plus an accent colour. Beyond that every element carries a ca-w- class you can target from your own stylesheet.
Can I put more than one widget on a page?
Yes. Paste as many container divs as you like and keep just one copy of the script tag. Widgets sharing the same settings share a single request.
Prefer a feed?
If your platform can't run JavaScript, our RSS feed carries the same stories and works with any feed-to-HTML plugin. Publishers with a different integration in mind can get in touch.
