Crypto News Signals
What the last 24 hours of crypto news say about each coin: every published CoinArticle story and brief, weighted by its impact and confidence, condensed into one signal per coin. The same feed powers the news evidence in Cryptohopper's AI trading bots.
Methodology
A coin's signal covers the published CoinArticle stories and briefs of the last 24 hours that mention it (matched on the coin's name and ticker; a brief superseded by a full article is not counted twice). Each story carries the sentiment (bullish / bearish / neutral), impact score and confidence score assigned when it was published — the signal never re-judges a story.
The score weighs every story by impact × confidence and is computed as 100 × (bullish weight − bearish weight) / total weight, so it runs from −100 (all weight bearish) to +100 (all weight bullish). Labels: bullish at +40 and above, leaning bullish from +15, neutral between −15 and +15, leaning bearish below −15, bearish at −40 and below.
A signal is descriptive, not advice: it says what the news flow looks like, not what a coin will do. Coins without matched stories in the window carry no signal at all rather than a manufactured neutral one.
